M K Ajay
M K Ajay was born and brought up in Kozhikode, Kerala. His poems have been published in more than thirty publications such as Orbis, Indian Literature, Ampersand Poetry Journal, Niederngasse, The Little Magazine, Kavya Bharati, Brown Critique, Chandrabhaga, Ygdrasil, Muse India, Zone Magazine and Montreal Serai. He has published a collection of short stories and two books of poems. ‘Sweetness of Salt’ (Plainview Press, Austin, TX), his latest collection of poems, was described by Lynn Strongin as a “brilliant journey well worth taking”. One of his stories has been included in ‘Urban Odysseys’, an anthology of contemporary writings from MPH Publishing about Kuala Lumpur, where he currently lives.
